Your default future vs.
the one you create

Clarity is one of the greatest forces behind achievement. When you know exactly where you want to go — and what challenges you might face — your thoughts, emotions, attention, and decisions all begin to align.

The problem

You think you know where you're going. Until you have to say it out loud.

Most founders are giving their all — but they're being pulled in too many directions for their effort to compound. And they underestimate what that costs: in speed, in trust, in the quality of every decision downstream.

It shows up in:

  • Meetings that go in circles — debating instead of deciding
  • Decisions that lack conviction — second-guessing, over-explaining
  • Hiring that feels more urgent than intentional
  • Progress that's erratic — movement without momentum
  • A nagging sense that everyone else has figured it out except you

It's not a question of intelligence or effort. It's that most founders are leading based on what's worked in the past — not as the leader who's already created the future.

What happens in the session

No goal-setting. No "I need to be realistic." No pretending to have all the answers.

We map out the future that already exists in your mind — but hasn't been fully spoken into existence yet. This session is designed to give you laser clarity on what you're building and who you need to become to execute on it.

  • i.
Speak your future into existence You'll describe the next 12 months as if they've already happened — out loud, in detail. Not the kind of goal setting you do on a spreadsheet. A vivid, specific account of what you built, what challenged you, and how you grew.
  • ii.
Identify where conviction will be tested The inevitable challenges — fundraising, hiring, closing deals — and how you'll handle them under pressure.
  • iii.
Map what needs to shift We look at who you had to become to make it happen — and the current patterns that could derail you.
"The on-the-spot, no-thinking-about-it-beforehand, create-from-the-future exercise lit up my imagination so much more than any prior experience doing similar activities. I noted that I got into a micro-flow state doing this exercise. Verbalizing something can create a more powerful response than writing."
— Ryan D., founder

What changes

Not your IQ. How you show up in the world.

A deep tech founder I worked with messaged me recently: "I found the 1-year vision exercise we did together."

Here's what came out of that session — and where they are a year later:

The vision they built

  • ✓ Close a $2M round (now closing $3M+)
  • ✓ Patent the core technology globally
  • ✓ Negotiate contracts with major labs
  • ✓ Scale industrial production
  • ◦ Lead a 9-person team
  • ◦ Decide between Europe and the US

What changed wasn't tactical. It was behavioral.

He stopped leading from uncertainty and started leading from conviction. Hiring became faster. Fundraising became more structured. Negotiations stopped draining him.

The team stopped looking to him for constant validation.

Who it's for

It's not for everyone.

The session is only useful if you're at a stage where how you think under pressure matters more than what you know.

Good fit

  • → You're entering a new stage of scale or fundraising
  • → You're making decisions that will compound over years
  • → Calm confidence and clear communication matter more to you than being the smartest person in the room
  • → You're willing to do the internal work

Not a fit

  • — You're looking for tactical advice or a business consultant
  • — You're not open to examining how you show up as a leader
  • — You want validation more than clarity
